Thanks for your interest in becoming a pen pal with Letters to a Pre-Scientist! Registration for STEM professionals to become pen pals for the 2024-2025 school year is now closed and will reopen for 2025-26 in July 2025.

Learn more about the program and who is eligible to participate. This is an August through June volunteer opportunity that consists of writing and receiving four rounds of letters throughout a school year with a student.

Thanks for your interest in becoming a STEM pen pal with Letters to a Pre-Scientist for the 2024-25 school year! This is a yearlong volunteer opportunity that consists of exchanging four rounds of letters with a curious young student. We estimate this is a 10 hour commitment spread out in 2 hour chunks between now and May. Learn more about the program and who is eligible to participate before registering.
